GOOD EDUCATION SERVICE NEEDS HIGHT COST

Ladies and Gentlemen
To beginning our speech, I have one question to you. Have you ever imaginedhow many children in Indonesia were dropping out from the school? According to official data collected from the 33 Office of the National Commission for Child Protection (PA) in 33 provinces, the number of school dropouts in 2007 has reached 11.7 million. That number would have increased again this year, given the national economic situation is getting worse.
In fact, an increasing number of school dropouts in Indonesia are very terrible. Look, in 2006 the numbers "still" approximately 9.7 million children; but a year later was increased by about 20% to 11.7 million. There is no description of Komnas PA if that amount is an accumulation of data the previous year, and coupled with the number of children who had just dropped out of school. But even if that amount is cumulative, it still feels very oppressive.

Ladies and Gentlemen

From that data, we as Indonesia people feel very sad. 12 million children in Indonesia don’t get education. It’s mean that education in Indonesia is still very low.
Talk about service, not all services provided by the school gives good impact and the impact on student achievement. Service is just as the existing facilities at the school. During this service that there are schools whose costs are already quite expensive sometimes is not satisfactory; there are still many things that should be fixed in a matter of education in this country.

Ladies and Gentlemen
Educationis aright of allchildren in Indonesia, butwhat happens ifthere isa part ofIndonesia's childrencannot getthe rights thatdeservethe right toget education inschoolswithadequate facilities. Lack of government attentionto theeducation ofpoor childrenand those livinginrural areasresulted in a growingnumberof childrenwhodo nothaveadequateeducationalfacilities. Establisha freeschoolforelementaryandjunior high schoolisgovernment policytotacklethe problemfor childrenwho are unabletoattend schoolbecause of the highcostofthe school.
Truepurpose of educationistoliberatepeople fromignoranceandpoverty. National education systemalsohas anoblepurpose, namely the intellectual life ofthe nationandthe humanformischaracterizedIndonesiaas well asgood moral behavior. Toachieve thegoalsof national education, the stateis obliged tocarry outa fairandqualityeducationasstipulated by the Lawof 1945. For example,in Article31 Paragraph1of the 1945 Constitutionwhich reads, "Every citizen has the rightto education." Its Meansthat allthe people ofIndonesiamustgainaccessto educationregardless of sex, race, religionandsocialstatus.
Now, can you imagine what happen if the school its needs high cost? Maybe the next generations in this country are not having education.

Ladies and Gentlemen
To conclude our speech “Wedo not have tobe asociologistif onlytounderstand thelogicalconsequencesofthisdisaster. In the visiblewe are able toseethe directimpactofsuch a largedropoutrateinIndonesia.”
